My parents found out that I bind. And who’s the one who says I can’t? My Mom? Actually, no. My dad is the one that freaks out this time and tells me I can’t wear my binder (my home made one) anymore. I didn’t listen to him of course, so when I wore it to school like I always do, he took it away. I am REALLY peeved. I just got it to a point where it worked well too.
At least they don’t know about the bandages I have in my locker at school. Though, I’m tired of only getting to bind at school again.
Anyway, next week is my last week left of being a high schooler! YAY!!

It gets better…
Soon enough you’ll be on your own and can live life on your terms. Stay strong in the meantime.
Argh, how horrible! Like I said, I will gladly let you borrow one of mine. Or we could browse for binders online and try to find a cheap one for you. I understand that your parents aren’t supportive, but really, they have no right to take your things from you!
I wear an under armor compression bra and compression shirt: the results aren’t as good as binding, but they do flatten things out. Maybe that is the route to go: they are technically made for women, so they might fly under your dad’s radar.
Where’d you buy them?
Gimmie your address: you can have mine! What size are you?
I don’t know my size.
All you have to know is your bra size: I am a B-cup, and weigh about 130. If you are in that range, then my gear will fit you. Are you into any sports you can pass these items off with as necessary gear?
Yeah, I’m in that range. The only sport I play is archery and we have one meeting left.
Well, it’s up to you, kid. If you think it will work, then I’ll pass it along. If you’re not interested, no hard feelings. 😉
I’m interested, I’m just trying to figure out how to sneak it under my parents radar.
Well, think about it and let me know, no pressure. 😉
I copied this into a gmail doc, now take your address off the internet!
I am out of town right now (just had my top surgery) and so will mail them to you next week. Probably around the 1st of June.
If you change your mind let me know, otherwise, expect a package in the mail. Is this going to your parent’s address? Will this make them suspicious?
If so, they are not expensive, you can find them for 20 bucks on the sports authority website, and coming from there maybe you can conjure some story about getting some athletic gear for some thing or another…
